Printão’s Canvas Photo is printed with the best drylab printing technology (learn more) It allows for more vivid colors, UV-resistant, and with more detail.

Due to its more complex production finish, the canvases have an estimated production time of up to 5 business days.

We have two types of printing support:

  • Canvas Type: Laminated Photography: Innovative, moisture-resistant, and with more point definition
    The photograph is printed on high-quality photographic paper, laminated (plasticized) to create resistance and durability. It is then mounted on a wooden frame. It maintains all the detail and resolution even in small sizes. (Preferred by our customers)
  • Traditional Textile Canvas: Textile canvas printed with the same ink technology. It has the traditional texture of the canvas support.

Final finish with wooden frame and ready to place on your wall.
You can choose a 2cm or 3cm frame.
For sizes larger than 70×70, we recommend the 3cm frame because it is more resistant.

How to Order?

  • Start by choosing the type of printing support
  • Choose how you prefer the print and side border size:
    You have two options:
    Solid Color: The side border is filled with a color of your choice. It allows you to make the most of the image. Click “Setup” to choose a color that matches the image.
    With Photo: The photograph itself covers the side border. Ideal for landscape images, wide-angle, and with a lot of background.

Tip: The area of your image outside the red dashed line corresponds to the border print. You can enlarge and frame the image.

Can Printão’s Canvas-Type Photography be placed underwater?

The photo is laminated with a transparent Soft-PVC-film, 70 µm, which protects against moisture and UV rays (Matte). This finish adds even more durability to the print with original Epson inks. Your photograph can last for centuries. The front can even be placed under a tap, but obviously, the wooden frame does not have that resistance.

What is the advantage over a Textile Canvas print?

Printão’s canvas-type print has higher image resolution, greater durability, and resistance.
The support is smooth and does not have the texture of the canvas fabric, thus maintaining the detail and resolution of the image even in small sizes.

What is the advantage of using original Epson inks?

From our research and analysis, there is no alternative to original Epson inks.

How can I hang the Canvas?

It comes fully finished with protective tape and mounting support. We recommend fixing it to the wall with a nail or screw. Traditional plug for compact walls or spiral plug for plasterboard walls.

What are the recommended sizes for canvas printing?

This product has high durability and torsion resistance. We use a solid wood frame of 3cm or 2cm thickness. We recommend a minimum photo size of 10×10 cm and a maximum size of 90×280 on photographic canvas and 100×290 on textile canvas front view. The 2cm frame is not recommended for sizes larger than 70×70.

For large sizes, support crossbars are placed in the middle.

On what type of paper is the Canvas-Type Photo printed?

The print is made on Hahnemühle Photo Luster 260. The paper profile can be downloaded here.

Are there any recommendations for preparing the files?

Choose images with good lighting and avoid using images sent via Facebook or WhatsApp as they reduce their quality. Learn More

Since this is a photo printing service of the client’s own photos, it is not possible to accept product returns unless production errors are detected.
