Can you place Printão’s Ultraboard Photograph underwater?
The photograph is laminated with a transparent Soft-PVC-film, 70 µm, which protects against moisture and UV rays (Matte). This finish adds even more durability to the print with original Epson inks. Your photograph will not lose color over time for many, many years. The front can even be placed under a tap, but obviously, the cardboard back does not have this resistance. We recommend cleaning with a damp cloth.
What is the durability of this finish?
The main issue with ultraboard is that in large sizes and humid locations, after a few years, the board may warp. In our exhibition, we have Ultraboard photographs that are several years old. We recommend this finish for medium-term projects or smaller sizes where weight is an important factor.
What is the thickness?
The ultraboard is 10mm thick. The final finish will be about 11mm.
What is the advantage of using original Epson inks?
From our research and analysis, there is no alternative to original Epson inks.

We recommend a minimum photograph size of 10×10 cm and a maximum size of 95×200 cm.
On what type of paper is it printed?
The print is done on Hahnemühle Photo Luster 260gsm. The paper profile can be downloaded here.
Are there any recommendations for preparing the files?
Choose images with good lighting and avoid using images sent via Facebook or WhatsApp as they reduce quality.
